This is a colored woodblock print of the fifteen Tokugawa Shōguns.


Pictures depicting members of the house of Tokugawa were prohibited during the Edo period, but started to be published in the Meiji period, which began in 1868. This picture was created by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, a woodblock print artist of the late Edo and Meiji periods.
