You can also use databases where you can look up laws and regulations, court decisions, articles from legal journals, and contents of official gazettes.
Business Information
Materials on corporate and industry information (i.g. market reports) are available.
You can also use databases where you can research industry information and market trends.
Newspapers
The past 2 to 4 months of national newspapers, local newspapers, sports newspapers, trade newspapers, specialized newspapers, as well as reduced-size editions, official gazettes, and complete collections of laws are available. There are also newspapers published in other countries as well as foreign-language newspapers published in Japan.
Audio & Video Materials Section
You can view videos, DVDs, CDs, and other materials concerning traditional techniques and Tokyo.
Information on Tokyo and Cities around the World
You can view materials related to Tokyo in various fields and materials relating to the "city".
Foreign Language Books on Topics
The collection is focused on new arrivals and magazines in foreign languages, as well as the introduction of books that are topical overseas.
Central Hall
Online catalogues and databases and computers with Internet connection, as well as phone directories from across the country and residential maps of Tokyo and neighboring prefectures are available.
General Information Counter
If you are unable to find the materials you are looking for, do not hesitate to ask librarians at this counter for help.
Pick-up / Return Counter
At this counter, we will provide materials from the closed stacks. Please also return them to this counter.
Photocopy Service Counter
You can copy the materials in the collection within the scope of copyright law.
Electronic Bulletin Boards
Once your requested materials have been located and are ready for viewing, you will be notified through the display of your reader's card identification number on the electronic bulletin boards located on floors 1 to 5 of the library. If you are requesting photocopy services, your ticket number will be displayed.
Reception Counter/Locker Room
Receive "admission card" at the counter and please leave big baggage in the locker.
