Special Collections Room
Approximately 243,000 rare materials, including classical documents, manuscripts, old maps, and Nishiki-e woodblock prints, mainly from the late Edo period.
Opening Hours 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Research Room
There are nineteen carrels with power outlet and desk lamp.
The seats are available for use by working adults. Students are not allowed to use them. Free Wi-Fi (TOKYO FREE Wi-Fi) is also provided in the room, and you can use your smartphone or computer. To make a reservation, please use the reservation terminals on the 1st or 5th floor.

Green View Seats
Adjacent to the Research Room, we have set up "Green View Seats," sofa seats facing large windows where you can relax while enjoying the view of the park's trees.

Group Study Room
A space for groups to engage in active learning, research, and business networking that utilizes library materials. Reservations for exclusive use are also available for groups of 15 or more people. (Applications accepted up to one month in advance up to the day before)
Electronic Bulletin Boards
Once your requested materials have been located and are ready for viewing, you will be notified through the display of your reader's card identification number on the electronic bulletin boards located on floors 1 to 5 of the library. If you are requesting photocopy services, your ticket number will be displayed.

Kid's Room (with nursing room)
We have set up facilities so that visitors with children can use the library comfortably.
The Kid's room offers a selection of recommended picture books. Please use it while accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The nursing room is equipped with chairs for breastfeeding and diaper-changing tables.
Cafeteria
Enjoy a beautiful view of Tokyo Tower and buildings in the Roppongi area. You can bring your own food and beverage and eat/drink it here.

From 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on open days except Saturdays and Sundays (last order: until 2:45 PM)
